Scale Force Cottage
Scale Force has been renovated to the highest of contemporary standards, featuring designer furniture and fittings, as well as paintings and photos by local artists.
The lounge has a Lakeland slate open fireplace. For relaxing after a day out, there is a TV (with SKY), DVD/CD player. Scale Force has a generous selection of CDs, DVDs, books, games, tourist information, maps and guides.
Scale Force's gourmet kitchen/dining room is equipped to the highest standard. It includes a SIEMENS hob, oven, microwave, fridge/separate freezer and dishwasher. The Italian extendable glass dining table comfortably seats six.
The utility area has a separate washer and dryer. There is ample room to dry clothes in the adjacent boiler cupboard.
The ground floor ensuite bedroom sleeps two in bunk beds. The ensuite bathroom contains a powerful shower, a WC and has under floor heating.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is exquisitely furnished with a queen size bed and ample built-in wardrobe and storage space. The second bedroom has two single beds and a built-in wardrobe and desk. (By prior arrangement, the single beds can be joined to form a super-king (6ft) bed). The main bathroom is beautifully appointed containing a large separate shower, a full size bath, generous storage as well as under floor heating.
All fuel (coal), electricity, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in your rental.
There is parking available for two cars.
